Hi Reader!!!
First off, a big thank you to everyone who came out for the first ever Jazz On Central music event last weekend!
I met so many wonderful people, enjoyed watching everyone enjoying so many fantastic jazz bands, and the day was absolutely gorgeous to boot!
There are plans to bring it back again next year, too, so be sure to stay tuned to keep it on your radar!
The absolute highlight: meeting a concert attendee who accepted an impromptu art-making session invite, where she let an inspiration and intuition guide her! I'm so proud of her for taking time to show up for herself, and creating her first - of hopefully many pieces - of inspirational art!

Right on time for October, Ozzie the black cat was a hit at Jazz On Central!
The artisan tea towels featuring sketches of my friend Lisa's black cat Ozzie were a BIG hit - they all sold out!
One thing I learned with drawing the adorable Ozzie is that it’s
VERY difficult to capture in pen and ink a fast-moving and VERY demanding kitty - but since Ozzie has paws with claws, he made several compelling arguments for me to figure out how to continue petting him and draw him at the same time!
To see all the different designs available check out the video below. These will be available for purchase at the upcoming November First Friday Open House on November 6, 2026, @ Studio 51 in the Factory Arts District!
I really enjoyed making each of the sewn collages featured in the Perpetual Evergreen Poster & Calendar Set!
Each 13 x 19 inch poster features an original mixed-media artwork on one side and a 2-month calendar on the other!
Hang the month’s calendar to stay on-time and up to-date, then flip to the poster and rotate them to perpetually freshen up your decor, adding beauty to your home or office!
The 6 different posters are personally signed by the artist!
To order click on the link to the left!
The 6 original calendar artworks are available exclusively to my mailing list recipients - Contact me at (317) 721-4824 to learn how to purchase!
That's about all for now - But, before you go, tell me: If you could take up a creative endeavor for an afternoon, which would you choose?
